Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Lucia da Costa (José Maria da Costa), Maria Goretti Estrela (feu José Estrela) et Duarte Cabral (Adelina Medeiros), ses petits-enfants Luís, Mike, Sandy, Jennifer et Sylvie et leurs familles, ses arrière-petits-enfants Megan, Lucas, Jayson, Emma, Samuel et Chloé, ainsi que plusieurs autres parents et amis.

La famille vous accueillera au Complexe funéraire Magnus Poirier situé au 10300 Boul. Pie-Ix à Montréal, H1H 3Z1, le lundi 9 février 2026 de 17h à 21h, ainsi que mardi matin dès 8h.

Les funérailles seront célébrées le mardi 10 février 2026, à 10h en l'église Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, située au 1815 rue Favreau à Laval.

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of MARIA DE SOUSA at the age of 99 years and 9 months, widow of José da Silva Cabral.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved children Lucia da Costa (José Maria da Costa), Maria Goretti Estrela (late José Estrela) and Duarte Cabral (Adelina Medeiros), her grandchildren Luís, Mike, Sandy, Jennifer et Sylvie and their families, her great grandchildren Megan, Lucas, Jayson, Emma, Samuel and Chloé, many other relatives and friends.

The visitation will take place at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie-IX Blvd., Montreal North, on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., and Tuesday morning as of 8:00 A.M..

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1815 Favreau St., Laval.
