CATERINA COMITO (MODAFFERI)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Caterina Comito Modafferi.

Caterina was a devoted wife to her beloved late husband Francesco Modafferi and an exemplary mother to her children.

She lived an extraordinary life defined by her strength, enduring love and devotion for her family, her children Cosimo (Karina), Ilario (Maria), Lorenzo (Karen), Marina (Tony) and was predeceased by her daughter Marina-Caterina and her daughter-in-law Manon. She was a cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren.

Her memory will be forever cherished.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 boul. Pie-IX on Wednesday January 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Pompei Church. The burial will be held at a later date at the family plot at The Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer's Association of Canada and to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
