It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria Pizzuti, on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the age of 66.

Beloved daughter of Filomena Pannunzio and the late Vittorio Pizzuti, Maria leaves behind her loving mother Filomena, and her cherished children Amanda and Vee (Romel) Di Gregorio. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Regina (Ken), Rosanna (Greg), and Joey, as well as her dear nieces and nephews Erica, Alexandra, Dante, Damiano, and Kayla.

Maria had a passion for beauty, baking, travelling, arts & crafts, watching Jeopardy with her children, and flowers of all types. Known for her playful spirit, she was a bit of a troublemaker in the best way, with a wonderful sense of humour and a generous heart, always standing up for the underdog.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie-IX Boulevard, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Friday morning beginning at 10 a.m.

A ceremony will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. within the salon of the complex.
