It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear father / grandfather on December 29, 2025 with family by his side.

Beloved husband of the late Angiolina, loving father of Tony (Oliva), Cristina (Tony Chiarelli). Adored Nonno of Sonya (Eric Hewett), Angela (Adam Davidson), Anthony Chiarelli, and Angela Chiarelli. Proud Bisnonno of Grace, Lauren and Erin.

Predeceased by brother Giuseppe (Adelina), brother Sebastiano (Carmela), sister Marietta (Palmerino), and brother Adelmo, sister-in-law Serafina (Marino), brother-in-law Domenic.

Survived by sister-in-laws Ginetta Sabelli, and Elisira Sabelli, and many nieces and nephews.

We are so fortunate to have papa in our lives and he will be missed.

Papa will be remebered as a quiet and gentle man. He was a hard worker and always cared for his family. He remained hopeful and positive in spite of his limitations in his later years. He will always be remembered for his love of flowers and vegetable gardening, Wine making and Sambuca in his coffee.

We will be forever grateful for the staff of CHSLD Joseph Francois Perreault (3 Nord) for their kind and gentle care. Un grand merci.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Thursday, January 8th, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 9th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-la-Defense church thence to Notre-Dame-des-neiges Cemetery
