ALESSANDRO PACETTI
C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille annonce le décès d’Alessandro Pacetti, survenu le samedi 29 novembre 2025, à l’âge de 89 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Filomena Berardo Pacetti, ses enfants Silvana (Charlie), Massimo (Danielle) et Franco (Giuseppina), ses petits-enfants Marco (Amanda), Davide (Camilia), Adriana (Michael), Carlo (Stephanie), Briana, Alessandro et Avia, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Lia, Eva, Mila, Daniel et Alessio, sa sœur Marta, de nombreux neveux et nièces, parents et amis. Alessandro était non seulement un homme d’affaires accompli, mais aussi un homme de grande sagesse, à l’humour chaleureux (toujours prêt à illuminer la pièce par son esprit vif) et d’une grande générosité. Loyal ami, époux et père dévoué, ainsi qu’un Nonno et Bisnonno des plus aimés, il a transmis à sa famille les valeurs du travail acharné. Son héritage d’amour, de rires et de bonté demeurera à jamais dans le cœur de ceux et celles qui ont eu le privilège de le connaître. Il sera difficile d’oublier quelqu’un qui nous laisse tant de beaux souvenirs. La famille exprime sa profonde gratitude à l’unité de soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital Santa Cabrini ainsi qu’au Dr. Peter Guerra et Dr. Marie-Claire Baril de l’Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal. La famille recevra les condoléances au Complexe funéraire Magnus Poirier, 10300 boulevard Pie-IX, le jeudi 11 décembre 2025, de 9h à 12h. Les funérailles auront lieu le jeudi 11 décembre 2025, à 13h, en l’Église catholique de Saint-Léonard, 5525 rue Jarry Est, Saint-Léonard, puis au cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Alessandro Pacetti, on Saturday November 29th, 2025, at the age of 89. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Filomena Berardo Pacetti, his loving children Silvana (Charlie), Massimo (Danielle) and Franco (Giuseppina), his cherished grandchildren Marco (Amanda), Davide (Camilia), Adriana (Michael), Carlo (Stephanie), Briana, Alessandro and Avia, his great-grandchildren Lia, Eva, Mila, Daniel and Alessio, his sister Marta and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Alessandro was not only a successful businessman but also a man of profound knowledge, warm humour (always quick to lighten the room with his sharp wit) and a generous spirit. He was a loyal friend, devoted husband and father and a most cherished Nonno and Bisnonno, who taught his family the value of hard work. His legacy of love, laughter and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. It will be difficult to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Palliative Care Unit at Santa Cabrini Hospital and Dr. Peter Guerra and Dr. Marie-Claire Baril at The Montreal Heart Institute. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Thursday, December 11th, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at 1 p.m. at St. Léonard Catholic Church, 5525 Jarry Street East, Saint-Léonard thence to the Cemetery Notre-Dame-des-Neiges.
