It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edoardo Marone, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 89. He will be missed by his wife, Luciana (nee Di Iorio), his children Mike (Anna), and Leo (Dao), his grandchildren Peter (Adriana), Emily (Evan), Lucy (Edward), and Lea, and his great-grandchildren David, Daniel, and Alex. He is also survived by his siblings Domenico (the late Maria) and Emilia, and many other relatives and friends. Edoardo was a faithful husband, a loyal father and a wonderful Nonno. He was an artistic upholsterer and avid soccer fan. He will be remember for his kindness, generosity, and his willingness to help anyone at anytime. He had a great love for his family and we are grateful to have had him as our role model. The family would like to thank the staff at CHSLD Dante and at Santa Cabrini Hospital. The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00 am. The burial will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 am. Both will be located at Magnus Poirier 6825 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal.
