CARMELA MAZZONE (GIURLEO)
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Carmela Mazzone Giurleo, on Wednesday October 1st, 2025, at the age of 97, beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Giurleo and mother to the late Nicodemo Giurleo (Anna). She will be sadly missed by her loving children Diego (Susanna), and Maurizio, her cherished grandchildren Carmelina (Peter), Giuseppe (Julie), Charlie (Rachel), Marco (Meaghen), Emily (Jon), Andrew and Daniele, her great-grandchildren, her siblings and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at 9 a.m. at Our-Lady-of-Pompei church thence to the cemetery Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Montreal's Childrens Hospital Foundation.
Mercoledì, 1° ottobre 2025, è venuta a mancare all’affetto dei suoi cari, la signora CARMELA MAZZONE GIURLEO all’età di 97 anni. Moglie di fu Giuseppe Giurleo e madre di fu Nicodemo Giurleo (Anna). La signora Carmela lascia nel dolore i figli Diego (Susanna) e Maurizio, i nipoti Carmelina (Peter), Giuseppe (Julie), Charlie (Rachel), Marco (Meaghen), Emily (Jon), Andrew e Daniele, i pronipoti, i fratelli, la sua sorella, numerosi nipoti ed altri parenti e amici. La salma sarà esposta presso il Complesso funebre Magnus Poirier, 10300 boul. Pie-IX a Montréal, mercoledì 8 ottobre 2025 dalle ore 14:00 alle 17:00 e dalle ore 19:00 alle 21:00. La messa sarà celebrata giovedì 9 ottobre 2025 alle ore 9:00 presso la Parrocchia Madonna di Pompei, e di là al cimitero Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. In luogo di fiori, si possono fare donazioni alla Fondazione dell’Ospedale dei Bambini di Montréal.
