It is with deep sadness and peaceful hearts that we announce the passing our loving mother, Dina Elisabetta Sassi, on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the age of 96; beloved wife of the late Gennaro Sassi, devoted mother of Mary (Enzo), Lena (Richard), Linda (Geno), Carmen (Danny), Gina (Ross).

She was the cherished Nonna to her 13 grandchildren, Daniel (Giuliana), Timothy (Rebecca), Virginia (Rino), Stephanie (Justin), Jennifer, Natalie (Steven), Matthew (Naomi), Richard Jms (Tracy), Adrian, Melanie (Oscar), Joel (Caroline), Michael (Janelle), Laura (David), and 26 precious great grandchildren.

Her love for God and for her family remained strong until the end.

Viewing for family and friends will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex 6825 Sherbrooke St. E. Monday, September 29th 2:00-5:00 pm 7:00-9:00 pm

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 30th at 12:00 pm Good News Chapel 5845 Blvd. Couture, St. Leonard

Burial will follow at Repose St. Francois d'Assise
