It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria Morena Sportella at the age of 99, beloved wife of the late Carmine Sportella.

She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Nicolina (Michael), her cherished grandchildren Elizabeth, Annie (Joey) and Anthony, her great-granddaughter Riley, her siblings and many other relatives and friends.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 12th, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Our-Lady-of-Pompei church thence to the cemetery Notre-Dame-des-Neiges.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
