ORIANA ROZZI

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Oriana Rozzi, dearly loved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece.  She leaves behind her children, Angelique (Jimmy), Adriano (Pamela), Dany (Samantha) and her grandchildren: Luke, Sofia and Jayden. She is also survived by her beloved mother, Bianca, her siblings, Sylvia, Fabiano and Angelica.

Oriana’s greatest accomplishments were her children and she was happiest when she was with them. She would do anything for her family and was fiercely protective, especially of her youngest son, Dany. She took great pride in the title of "Nonna" and cherished her time with her grandchildren. 

Throughout her life, our mother shared many fond memories of her childhood, her teens and adulthood. She especially loved music and relished in telling us the story about meeting David Bowie and Billy Idol, as well as the time she and her daughter, Angelique, scored floor tickets to Bon Jovi. Ori shared her son, Adriano’s sense of humor, always appreciating a good joke or laugh. She enjoyed traveling, her favorite being anywhere with a beach.

Her strong and kind heart was admirable. Oriana may not have always realized how strong she was, having battled cancer more than once in her lifetime. But her strength is without a doubt, one of her best qualities. She was forgiving, encouraged those around her and taught us to believe. Oriana was a godly woman and her faith was unrelenting, even during these challenging times. She will be greatly missed by her family and close friends. 

A wake will be held at Magnus Poirier at 6825 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7, Canada on Sunday, October 6th from 5-9pm, followed by mass Monday October 7th, 2024 at Saint-Donat Church located at 6805 Rue de Marseille, Montréal, QC H1N 1M6, Canada at 11am. Oriana's wish was to be cremated therefore there will not be an interment.
