MARIA ZAMPINO

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria Zampino, on Friday January 9th, 2026, at the age of 61.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Albert Bao, her loving children Anthony (Lisa Marie) and Jessica (Rocco), her grandchildren Damiano, Nathan, James, Diego, Charlie, and Aviana, her siblings and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Our beloved Maria was a truly giving, kind, and big-hearted woman who always put others before herself. Her family was her world. Her presence lit up every room she entered, and she was truly the life of the party. With a smile that touched countless hearts and an eccentric, joyful personality, she had a rare gift of making everyone around her feel happy and loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A ceremony will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Our-Lady-of-Pompei church.
