Giuseppe Bombardieri of Laval, Québec passed away, surrounded by love on November 26,2025, at the age of 78.

Giuseppe was born on April 28,1947 in Camini, Reggio Calabria, he was the son of the late Abbondio and Maria (Papandrea) Bombardieri. He left Italy at the age of 6 with his mother and sister Rose, to be reunited with his father in Montreal, Quebec. Giuseppe was a hard working ambitious young man who started working with his father at Morgan Van Lines. At the age of 22, he and his brother in law Angelo Castronovo opened the restaurant “Angie’s Submarine”.

After many years, he moved to Winnipeg where he started a new job as a salesman in the camera industry. Here it grew into a long lasting passion for photography, he took beautiful pictures of nature and friends for all occasions.

Giuseppe settled in his new home on Papineau Blvd. in Montreal where he opened a dépanneur and became a Jehovah’s witness. In 2022, he finally agreed to move to Laval to be closer to his sister Elizabeth and Angelo where he happily enjoyed his last years, preaching the Good News of Jehovah’s Kingdom.

Giuseppe will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Rose (late Angelo) Sciullo, Elizabeth (Angelo) Castronovo, late Mary (Joe) Micelotta, Aldo (Vienna) Bombardieri, Linda (Michelle) Bombardieri, as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Visitations will be held in the Délia Tétreault chapel of the Cemetery of Laval (Magnus Poirier) on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by a commemorative service in his honor.
