It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of VINCENZO BATTISTA on Thursday, September 04, 2025 at the age of 90. Loving father of the late Giuseppe Battista who he adored. He will be sadly missed by his beloved spouse of 70 years Donata Lorusso Battista, his loving children Rosa (Gilles), Maria (Antonio) and Antonia (late Simon), his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brothers Andrea (Graziella), and Raffaele (Jean), his sisters Maria (late Antonio) and Antonia (Joe) as well as other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 6825 Sherbrooke street east., Montreal, QC. H1N-1C7, on Tuesday, September 09, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Magnus Poirier Complex, then to Le Repos Saint-François d'Assise Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Heart Institute would be appreciated.

Il signore Vincenzo lascia nel dolore la moglie e sposa da 70 anni, Donata Lorusso Battista, i figli Rosa (Gilles), Maria (Antonio) e Antonia (fu Simon), i nipoti e pronipoti, i fratelli Andrea (Graziella) e Raffaele (Jean), le sorelle Maria (fu Antonio) e Antonia (Joe) ed altri parenti e amici. La salma sarà esposta presso il complesso funebre Magnus Poirier 6825, rue Sherbrooke Est a Montréal, H1N 1C7, martedì, 09 settembre, 2025 dalle ore 14:00 alle 17:00 e dalle ore 19:00 alle 21:00 e mercoledì dalle ore 10:30 alle 12:00. La messa sarà celebrata mercoledì, 10 settembre, 2025 alle ore 12:00 presso la Cappella del Complesso Magnus Poirier, e di la, al cimitero Le Repos Saint-François D'Assise. Al posto di fiori, le donazioni al Montreal Heart Institute sarebbero apprezzati.
