ROSINA SCAPPATICCIO (FARINARO)
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Rosina Scappaticcio Farinaro, on Saturday August 23rd, 2025, at the age of 97, beloved wife of the late Umberto Farinaro.
She will be sadly missed by her loving children Anna (Pietro), Lina, Robert (Suzanne), and predeceased by her son the late Joe ''Giuseppe'' (Suzanne), her cherished grandchildren Luigi (Laura), Aldo (Amélie), Lisa (Emanuele), Ashely (Steven), Christopher, Jessica (Elie), Kevin (Valerie), Thomas-Jay and Jesse her great-grandchildren Daniel, Damiano, Stella Rose, Rebecca, Davide, Sienna, Arianna, Melina, Eva, Nolan, Livia, James, Lena and Leandra, her siblings Nunzio, Enrico (Giuseppina) and Gina and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata church thence to the cemetery Jardins Urgel Bourgie (Parc du Souvenir) in Laval.

È con profonda tristezza che la famiglia annuncia la scomparsa di Rosina Scappaticcio Farinaro, sabato 23 agosto 2025, all’età di 97 anni, amata moglie del fu Umberto Farinaro.
Mancherà profondamente ai suoi cari figli Anna (Pietro), Lina, Robert (Suzanne), ed è stata preceduta dal suo amato figlio fu Joe “Giuseppe” (Suzanne), ai suoi nipoti Luigi (Laura), Aldo (Amélie), Lisa (Emanuele), Ashely (Steven), Christopher, Jessica (Elie), Kevin (Valerie), Thomas-Jay e Jesse, ai suoi pronipoti Daniel, Damiano, Stella Rose, Rebecca, Davide, Sienna, Arianna, Melina, Eva, Nolan, Livia, James, Lena e Leandra, ai suoi fratelli e sorelle Nunzio, Enrico (Giuseppina) e Gina, nonché a numerosi nipoti, parenti ed amici.
La salma sarà esposta presso il complesso funebre Magnus Poirier, 10300, boul. Pie IX, mercoledì 27 agosto 2025 dalle ore 14:00 alle 17:00 e dalle ore 19:00 alle 21:00.
La cerimonia avrà luogo giovedì 28 agosto 2025 alle ore 9:30 presso la chiesa Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata, e in seguito la cara Rosina riposerà al cimitero Jardins Urgel Bourgie (Parc du Souvenir) a Laval.
Al posto dei fiori, si possono fare donazioni al Breakfast Club of Canada o alla Canadian Kidney Foundation.
