Nonna Ergomina was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother during her incredible 97 years of life. She passed away on April 12, 2024. She was the devoted and beloved wife of her soul mate and cherished companion, the late Antonio Carnevale. She was predeceased by her treasured son Michele (Denise), her parents (Marianna Toto and Angelo Perna), her sisters Bambina (Nicola) and Livia, and brothers Antonio (Agata) and Vincenzo (Esterina), and leaves in mourning her sister Viola (late Antonio), her brother Pasquale (Lucia), her loving son Franco (wife Mary Ellen and her daughter Evelyn), her grandchildren Marissa (daughter of Heather; Rudy), Melina (Jalil), Leah, her great-grandchildren Carina, Sofia, Sami, Matteo and Bianca, and many nieces and nephews, as well as their families and children.

She will be fondly remembered for her enduring strength and profound love for her family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with loved ones. She leaves a legacy that will live on through the memories and stories from her incredible journey, that are forever imprinted on the hearts of her family members and others in her close-knit community.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex 10300 boul. Pie-IX, on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Our-Lady-of-Consolata Church, then to Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery, Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul Mausoleum (4601 Côte-des-Neiges Rd, Montreal, Quebec H3V 1E7).
