Our Team

Magnus Poirier, a five-generation family company, has almost 200 employees, and 20 of them are members of the Poirier family. The sense of belonging felt by all the members of the team is demonstrated by the loyalty to the company of several employee families who have worked at Magnum Poirier from one generation to the next.

Workers Shareholder Cooperative (WSC)

Magnus Poirier’s worker shareholder cooperative (WSC) was launched in 2001. It allowed 135 members to become, collectively, shareholders of the company. Their interest amounts to 15 % of the company. The president of the WSC serves on the Board of Directors and therefore participates in the decision-making process.

As well as enhancing the feeling of belonging of the employees, such company participation motivates their wish to prosper. Moreover, it provides its members the means to constitute an interesting and cost-efficient pension fund, thanks to the Cooperative’s Investment Plan.
